Geographical Coverage for Shipping

Manhattan Fruitier ships products nationwide, including Hawaii. Please note that we are unable to ship fresh fruit to Arizona due to agricultural restrictions. We do not offer international shipping, including Canada.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are based on the weight of the gift and the shipping service selected, such as overnight, one-day, two-day, etc. Charges for hand delivery within the New York City area are determined by the distance and complexity of the delivery. There are additional surcharges for Saturday deliveries to cover increased shipping costs. Shipping charges can be viewed with each product by clicking on “Shipping Options” which will allow you to enter the shipping destination zip code and see costs based on desired delivery dates.

Shipping Methods

We use UPS for our nationwide shipping needs to ensure timely and reliable delivery of your gifts. For local deliveries within approximately 25 miles of Manhattan, we also offer hand delivery services.

Handling Time

Our handling time is generally very quick. Orders placed by 10 AM ET are eligible for same-day Hand Delivery within the New York City area. Orders placed by 2PM ET are eligible to ship on the same day via UPS for the delivery date you select. Orders placed after 10AM ET for Hand Delivery or 2PM ET Nationwide UPS Delivery are eligible to ship starting the next available shipping day based on your selected delivery date. During peak holiday seasons, handling times may be extended due to increased demand.

Shipping Time

The average shipping time varies based on the selected service:

  • For nationwide shipping, the arrival time depends on the UPS service level chosen and is typically delivered in 1-3 days after shipping with arrival on the delivery date you select during checkout. Most packages are delivered by the end of the delivery day select—by 5 PM for businesses and up to 7 PM for residential addresses, with some exceptions where deliveries may occur later. Occasionally UPS may experience delays.
  • For hand delivery in the NYC Tri-state area, we typically deliver by 6 PM, although it may be as late as 7 PM depending on various factors such as traffic and weather.

Additional Information

We authorize UPS to leave packages without a signature to avoid perishable goods spending an extra night in transit. However, if UPS cannot find a safe place to leave the package, they will attempt redelivery the next day. For hand-delivered packages, if the recipient is not available, we will attempt to contact them or leave the package with a responsible party, obtaining a signature for proof of delivery.
